Comedy in Tragedy 1

Trains: life-line of any country. Local Trains: the only trains in India which are more or less on time. Best way to daily passengers for travelling nearby cities or intra-city. With them, neither tension of rain or sun, nor the tension of being late due to traffic jams. But what to do with people who are true Indians and want to do everything on IST (Indian stretchable time). They don’t know the speciality of the Local trains and think that like any other Indian train, it will also be late. So they have to suffer like one of my friend. NM ( my friend) is one of this type of people.

 

People who come to the boarding station at 5 min later of the right time of the train and expect that they will buy the tickets then and after that they will easily board into the train.

 

So as usual to go to the training office (internship duration), NM went to railway station. As expected, NM was in hurry, so NM just went to railway inquiry counter and asked, “When and at which platform ‘local’  is?" Answer was given, “Look there (pointing towards the 5^th platform), about to move!!” First day at training, no one can take chance when it’s said “Be on time or you will be fired!!!” So NM run (literally run on platform and on the railway track), without tickets from the front of the TTE. One knows the condition of the Indian railway tracks, but it’s said “मरता क्या ना करता”, so poor NM did it all. Finally boarded on the train, hardly found place to sit in a packed train and then train started moving.

But what is this??!!? The train was moving in the other direction, not in the one where NM has to go. NM was shocked, asked a person sitting nearby, “Where is the train going??” {remebering own question “When and at which platform ‘local’  is? “ (like It's not the train but a pen, any local will work).} The answer was as expected. But NM was in a midway station and NM is clever too (Engineer after all). NM get down of the train into next local station, called a friend living nearby (so early in the morning uhhhhh.........). (Actually SMSed, and the friend called back (miser buddy :P). )

Then the friend took NM to the railway station and insisted to buy a ticket. But finally only the friend had to buy because NM was not to ready to buy the tickets for the local trains. And then they inquired whether the train has gone and they had to wait for next 1 hour for next local or not. And yes, this time local was also late for few minutes (fortunate NM again). But this time also the train was about to leave. So NM again runs through the platforms and the railway tracks. All the vendors and people waiting for their trains were looking at NM and laughing also, “What a student!! Came again to run in the tracks (RAILWAY)” and”Just went from one of the trains and then came back to board on the other train!!” But NM didn’t mind these at that time (What else can be done...) and finally could make it on right time to the training office and also the person who come to receive NM at the station.

Ohhhh the person: The person is NM’s friend’s father’s friend, who comes to station to make sure that NM is right on the reporting time of the office. (How does the person know NM is a true Indian.??!! :O :D

अनजान

आज फिर रुत मस्त, मध्दम हवा और मौसम मस्ताना है,

जज्बाती कहो या दिवाना मगर दिल ने छेड़ा तराना है |

आशिक़ी मे डूबा हूँ, बस इश्क़ का फसाना है,

वो आज है यही, और उसे दिल का हाल बताना है |

कैसे कहूँ तुम्हे, तुम्हे अपना बनाना है,

जानती तो हो फिर क्यों ये अंदाज-ए-अंजाना है |

रुक जाओ दो पल, अभी तो सुहानी शाम का आगाज़ है,

पर बात शुरू करूँ कैसे, पढ़ लो इन आँखों को जो कहती यही राज है |

तुम हो मेरी और नही कोई सनम तुम्हारा दूजा है,

चाहता हूँ ले लूँ बाहों मे उसे, जो मेरी प्रियतमा मेरी पूजा है |

पर इस पूजा की सफलता क्यों आसान नही है,

तप किया है मैने पर पाया क्यों वरदान नही है |

वो फिर दूर है मुझसे, भले ही तुम्हे दिख पास रही है,

कोई है तरीका तो बताए मुझे, मुझे तो नही कोई आस रही है |

कह लो तुम मुझे अकेला, पर अकेला कहा मैंने कभी खुद को पाया है,

खुशी मिले है उसे जहाँ की तो मैने भी गम को आजमाया है |

कहने को तो आज बिल्कुल तन्हा हूँ, पर साथ मेरे सच्ची साथी तन्हाई है,

फ़िक्र ना कर ऐ मासूम मेरे लिए, ये पहली दफ़ा नही उसकी रुसवाई है |

सोचा था उससे दूर जाने का, दिल ने कुछ चैन पाने का,

मगर दिल ने ये कैसा मर्ज़ लिया है, उसके बिन नही जी पाने का |

ये मोहब्बत है दोस्त मेरे, जो कहाँ किसी को समझ आई है,

जो कभी झुका नही उसने कहा की ये पढ़ाई है |

ये आँखों की भाषा पढ़ना नही कोई खेल है

ये कोई सस्ता सौदा नही दो दिलों का मेल है |

कैसे कह दूँ की तुम्हारे प्यार मे ही अंकुश  डूबा है,

कहीं रूठ गयी तुम तो तुम्हारे सिवा नही मेरा कोई दूजा है |

पता नही मेरी बातों को तुम कब समझ पाओगी,

मेरे सच्चे प्यार को कब सफल करवाओगी,

दिल की बात को होठों पे लाना ज़रूरी नही,

बस तुम्हें चाहना है, तुम्हे पाना ज़रूरी नही...

हमने तो ना की थी कोई खता,

मगर तुम्हारी नादानी पर मेरा कोई ज़ोर नही,

चाँद तो आज भी निकला था हमारी मोहब्बत की शान में,

मगर बादलों की घटा पे किसी का ज़ोर नही |

गम को मेरे खुशी मे बदल जाने दे,

बहते है आँसू तो बह जाने दे, 

बदल जाएँगे मोतियों में अश्क मेरे,

तू बस अपने हाथों को सीप बन जाने दे |

रहते हैं वो किसी के ख्यालों में पर कहते हैं मुझे किसी की याद नही,

भेजते हैं किसी को संदेश पर कहते हैं कोई ख़ास नही,

पूछते हैं हाल उनका सबसे और कहते हैं कोई वैसी बात नही,

बताता हूँ उन्हे ये प्यार है जनाब, तो कहते हैं, 

किसी से  बयाँ हो जाए, प्यार इतना सस्ता ज़ज्बात नही |
